Starring big stars like Robert De Niro, Halle Berry, Ashton Kutcher, and endless awesome celebrity even Jon Bon Jovi (let me kyaaaa~~ for a while) doesn’t make the movie automatically good. The stories are too short therefore no chemistry was shown and every scene just felt so in a rush.
Of course all the big names succeeded to drag my lazy bones to go to the movies and buy the ticket, with hopes it will be better than Valentine’s Day. But the truth is, after watching New Year’s Eve, now I think Valentine’s Day is a better movie. If you see the full list of New Year’s Eve actors and actresses, you’ll be amazed of how many big stars are there. Even a cameo for an unimportant nurse was played by Alyssa Milano. When I read the cast list, I saw Joey McIntyre but I didn’t even realize he was in the movie. Oh, Gary, Less is more.
I do not recommend this movie to be watched in the movie theatre. You could just wait for the DVD and rent it. You could use that money to watch Mission Impossible twice!! Or thrice for that Twilight movie budget! ;)
